“We had the pleasure of having Reverend Cathy DeLauter as

our wedding officiant. She quickly replied to us after our inquiry

and since the first contact we felt we had found a truly

maternal, professional and committed person. We felt

comfortable enough to share some of the details of our journey

together and she graciously incorporated those into our

ceremony. We ended up having a very personal an...d

emotional wedding. Eduardo and I were raised catholic and

were hoping to incorporate this into our civil ceremony. Rev

Cathy truly aligned to our wishes. We will be forever grateful

for the moving ceremony she gave us. She kept saying she felt

blessed of uniting people in matrimony but we were the

We had a wonderful experience with Rev. Cathy. We are from

Columbus Ohio and got married in Michigan so our wedding

planning was tricky sometimes. She took all of the stress out of

the ceremony part for us. She had us fill out a questionnaire to

get a feel for what we were looking for and who we are. After

that we spoke on the phone and met in person to customize

the ceremony just how we wanted it. She happily left out/

included everything we asked for. We always felt that she was

truly happy for us and even though we had only met her in the

months before the wedding--she made the experience feel

very personal.

We still keep in touch with Cathy periodically (Christmas cards,

baby announcements...) She comes highly recommended from
