About Reverend Cathy DeLauter
I am a non-denominational Ordained Interfaith Minister. I believe that our journey through life is sacred. And that honoring our journey
through rituals helps give meaning and purpose to all of life’s events. Celebrating the rite of marriage is one of the most beautiful and
life-affirming events in our life. It is a joy and a priviledge to celebrate this event with you. In the process of coordinating the wedding
ceremony, I often become close to the couple which makes it more special for them and for me. It often feels like family is being married
as I rejoice with them. All faiths and no faiths are honored in the ceremony as appropriate for you. As it is your journey, it is my honor to
walk with you to guide you in the process of the selection of different parts of the ceremony and putting them all together--to make the
ceremony reflect who you are as a couple.
I recently celebrated the marriage of my oldest son this past year and got to see what it’s like to be on the other side as the Mother of the
Groom. It helped me to appreciate all that goes into pulling off an event like this, the planning, time, expense, and the emotions riding
high at times. By nature, I have a calming effect and am caring and very organized. I will encourage, guide and walk with you in every
step in planning your ceremony! You are in good hands with Rev. Cathy!!
